The Future of Conservation

November 2021

Producer - Videographer - Editor

While interning as a science communicator at a non-profit conservation organization in the rainforests of Costa Rica, I produced a video about empowering and equipping youth to conserve wildlife like jaguars, peccaries, and coatis that roam across the Osa Peninsula, one of the most biologically intense places on Earth. The interviewed biologists work with youth in Rancho Quemado, a rural community located in the heart of the Osa Peninsula that works to protect White-lipped peccaries, “chancos de monte,” from poachers.
