Certain places stay with us—they shape who we are, long after we’ve left them. Maybe it’s the café where an important conversation happened, the park where you found clarity, or the street corner that feels like home. These places aren’t just locations; they’re part of our story.
Placeful, an on-going project, is a podcast born from a fascination with the deep connections between people and places. It began with a simple question: Why do certain places stay with us? As someone who has always been curious about the intersection of storytelling, memory, and geography, this project became a way to explore how spaces shape our lives—and how we, in turn, leave marks on them.
Each episode features conversations with everyday people reflecting on places that have shaped their lives—places tied to transformation, memory, or simple routines. These might be transformative landmarks, quiet corners, or even ordinary spots that carry extraordinary memories. The goal isn’t just to share stories, but to invite reflection on how places connect us to ourselves, others, and the world. This project is rooted in my belief that understanding our relationship with place can foster greater awareness, empathy, and connection.
Through Placeful, I hope to create a space for these stories to be heard and for listeners to explore their own connections to the places they carry.
